At Nashville Shotokan Karate School, we focus on both physical and psychological development to help each student become a respected and successful individual.
The Chief-Instructor of the club is Dr. Nataliya Pidkovka, a biomedical scientist and an experienced educator. Sensei Nataliya started practicing karate in Ukraine 1993. Her black belt degrees were certified by Sensej Hirokazu Kanazawa (Shotokan Karate-do International Federation), Sensej Teruyuki Okazaki (International Shotokan Karate Federation/Japan Karate Association) and examination panel of Hombu Dojo Karate International organization (HDKI). Throughout her athletic and coaching career, Nataliya and her team have successfully competed at the national and international level karate tournaments. Nataliya started and a Karate Club at Lviv National Medical University in Ukraine in 2000s, then in Nashville in 2018 with the help of her daughter.
